We are deprecating the Previdian v1 API and RSS endpoints. They will be retired on 18 September 2026.

Anyone currently using a v1 endpoint should migrate to v2 before this date to avoid disruption.

What is changing?

The v2 API and RSS feed will become the supported way to access Previdian data programmatically. Accessing these endpoints requires a registered Previdian account and an access token.

Registration is free, and both the v2 API and RSS feed will remain available to Free users.

What is not changing?

The full Previdian known exploited vulnerability feed will remain publicly available on our website without an account. Individual vulnerability pages will also remain public and linkable, so they can continue to be used as public references.

This is a change to how programmatic access is authenticated, not a paywall or restriction on which KEV data is publicly available.

Why are we moving to v2?

Moving integrations to authenticated v2 endpoints gives us a supported, more reliable foundation for future API and RSS development.

It also gives us a way to send essential service notices to users who depend on these integrations. Our recent move from KEVIntel to Previdian highlighted the importance of being able to notify users about domain, endpoint and other service changes that could affect their workflows.

How to migrate

Before 18 September 2026:

1. Create a Previdian account and start your 14-day Pro free trial.
2. Obtain your access token from your account.
3. Replace your existing v1 API or RSS endpoint with its v2 equivalent.
4. Test your integration before the retirement date.

At the end of the 14-day trial, your account will automatically be downgraded to the Free plan. You can continue using the v2 API and RSS feed at no cost.
